It is time to stand up! You’ve been sitting on the bench for far too long. In fact if you are anything like me you weren’t even on the bench. I was laying down! I had to slowly sit up before I could even think about standing, much less running. If you are the underdog, you are exactly who I am talking to! Wake up! Show the world who you are and why they want you in the game! What I mean by that is PROVIDE VALUE!

It doesn’t matter if you are the lead, or the assist. Just get in the game and win! Far too many people need to be the lead in the play! What if you’re value is lighting? Does that make you less valuable? No way!! You are integral to the entire project. You are the area under the curve! Without you, there is nothing! If more people would stand up in their own way, the world would be a better place! No one on this planet can tell you that what you have to offer isn’t good enough. I will give you an example: My daughter has always been very artistic. I have always appreciated that about her! However, being an engineering major, I thought arts degrees to be worthless, or not as valuable as science degrees! I had even shared this nonsense with others. You may be tempted to agree with me even. Let me tell you, I was wrong! It all depends on your view of the world. I was in desperate need of a paradigm shift! I have since learned that the skills learned in arts translate very well into business! If you are self driven, you can take any and every skill from your entire life and apply it to business!

In my life, I have listened to far too many people, and not enough people all at the same time. Listening to the wrong people can have catastrophic consequences! Naysayers exist at every turn with their sage wisdom. The point of all this, is GET UP! Point yourself in one direction: and don’t ever look back!
